Virtual Pelvic floor + core recovery programmes
How will our courses help you?
Spring Physio has a proven track record of successfully rehabilitating women with prolapse, incontinence, diastasis, a weak core and from a c-section. We have now packaged up our approach into an online programme, for those that prefer an online accessible version.
There are currently two programmes to choose from. We have separated the programme in two for maximum flexibility. Pelvic Floor Foundations is the starting point for almost every woman. It consists of a comprehensive one hour virtual physiotherapy assessment and individualised treatment programme to compliment the six week pelvic floor strengthening and education programme.
Fit for Function is the next stage of pelvic and core rehab. If you have completed Pelvic Floor Foundations or have already seen a Women's Health Physiotherapist and are confident doing a "kegel" (squeeze and lift) then this programme is for you. You will build on the strength you have gained in a static position and start adding functional movement. This is KEY for successful pelvic floor rehab if you want to be symptom free running, jumping or doing heavy load abdominal exercise.

Spring Physio Reviews
Can’t recommend claire enough. First time I’ve actually enjoyed and wanted to do physio. I started off with a really weak core which was also causing painful lower back to the point I couldn’t stand up straight first thing in the morning ,worse after having a baby. Various drs and osteopaths couldn’t help but having had treatment with Claire I now barely notice it, and testament to this was having walked around London for 7 hours last week... previously I’d have had to sit down which would have been painful to bend but with the exercises claire gave me I didn’t have one twinge!! I thought i was a lost cause but it really has helped me!! Thank you claire xx
Spring Physio Reviews
I highly recommend Claire's courses at Spring Physio. I've been going on and off since last summer and love the relaxed and fun style of the courses. Not only is Claire very professional and experienced, she also knows each of her clients very well and tailors exercises to suit those with specific issues to ensure they do the right moves. My diastasis and core strength is definitely improving and my aim is to start running and exercising as I once did before children. Thank you Claire Brodie for helping me get there! x
Frequently asked questions
WHAT IS PELVIC FLOOR PHYSIOTHERAPY?
A women's health physiotherapist has had specialist post graduate education in pelvic health. They are trained to do internal examinations to assess the pelvic floor muscles, the joints and the ligaments. The physiotherapist has had training to be able to assess the whether the pelvic floor muscles are weak, tight or whether there is any laxity of the vaginal walls (prolapse) which could be contributing to the problem.
Ideally every woman who is post natal or whas pelvic floor issues should see a women's health physio for an assessment. Sadly this doesn't always happen within the NHS and there are many barriers to women being able to do this privately. Lack of insurance, financial costs, childcare burdens and location are all potential barriers to getting the an assessment.
Whilst signing up to an online programme means you cannot have a physical examination, we thoroughly screen each case. This screening can pick up any complex issues that need to be addressed prior to joining the programme, whether a pelvic floor strengthening programme is the right option for you and also to check for medical issues which could be contributing to your problem. Every screening is checked by an experienced women's health physiotherapist. You are in safe hands.
