FIT FOR FUNCTION | ADVANCED PELVIC FLOOR EXERCISES
The fit for function course is a natural progression from the pelvic floor foundation course. We focus on building pelvic floor and deep abdominal strength in functional positions and with MOVEMENT. This is a vital part of core rehab because as a general rule of thumb, pelvic health issues aren't a problem lying down or in a static position. Therefore if you want your pelvic floor and core to perform when you walk, run and jump on a trampoline you have to train it appropriately. No one trained for a marathon by sitting on a sofa.......The kegel exercise alone isn't enough!
Who should do advanced pelvic floor exercises?
Anyone who has completed the Spring Physio foundation pelvic floor programme and wants to be symptom free with higher level activity
AND/OR
Anyone who is confident they are able to perform a pelvic floor contraction successfully in lying, sitting and standing.
AND/OR
Anyone who is confident they are able to perform a pelvic floor contraction successfully in lying, sitting and standing.
