MUMMY TUMMY AND PELVIC FLOOR WORKSHOP FRIDAY 5TH JUNE (CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19)
Sadly we have had to postpone our workshops indefinitely due to coronavirus. However don't despair! You can get all our great workshop education and more in our new pelvic floor foundation course!
Location: Holy Cross Priory Hall, Cross in Hand, Heathfield. TN21 0DZ.
Do you know you have an ongoing tummy gap post pregnancy? Or do you just feel your tummy has lost all its tone and strength? Do you feel like you still look pregnant, despite losing weight everywhere else? Have you been told you have a prolapse and need to strengthen your pelvic floor? Or do you have the occasional leak when sneezing/coughing/jumping?
If you've answered yes to any of these questions, this is the workshop for you.
Come and have your tummy/core assessed in a group session and learn to reconnect to your pelvic floor and core.
A relaxed and informal workshop led by Claire Brodie, Chartered Physiotherapist and owner of Spring Physio, a physiotherapy practice specialising in women's health.
The aim of this workshop is to:Increase awareness of common pelvic floor issues that women can face when they exercise and what can be done to resolve them (it's not something you have to put up with!).
Give you an understanding of how your pelvic floor and core muscles work together; and how to engage them properly.
How to safely exercise and look after your pelvic floor.
How to flatten your tummy after childbirth, even years down the line. The foundation of pelvic floor strengthening (practical)
